Experienced editor but new to Resolve Using 15 Beta
Desperately trying to work out the audio side of things and getting very frustated
ALL of resolve tutorials on AUDIO I have seen so far , and its a lot, fail to tmention anything about Audio levels in anyway and how best to use the MIXER....would like to know how I would replicate my Premiere Pro workflow audio wise....I use the clip mixer in Premiere to get my audio at the correct level BEFORE editing to timeline...like Avid's clip mixer I am able to solo required audio ( camera source can have multiple audio channels ) , pan it ,adjust levels etc...Where is the Resolve audio clip mixer on the source side
I am not talking about Fairlight but using the edit tab....I am a fast turn around news editor , been in Broadcasting 38 years working for CNN and BBC around the globe....for me it is vitally important to quickly get my audio levels correct for transmission....and not have to adjust with global TRACK levels..your thoughts on audio would be greatly appreciated.
