Multicam and Reconform

PostThu Jun 21, 2018 1:20 pm

Hi Dudes
Currently I have a knot in my head:
I edited a Multicam Part of a Video and then ad Parts of that into the original Timeline with the whole video_
Timeline...Multicam...Timeline.
Before I started with everything I pulled my Footage down to Proxy Size and now for Grading I want to go back to my original 4k with "reconform from Bins". Whatever I tried, I could not connect my 4k to the Multicam. Then I opened my Multicam as a Timeline, where I see my files on top of each other. There I can reconform my Clips but closing the Timeline and open the Multicam again and touching the part in the timeline will show the Proxy resolution again. Any Idea??

Ok, the Multicam is a "Timeline" as well and as long as I have my Timeline Resolution set to HD, I can only insert HD Timelines. So I have to set the Resolution to 4k and render single Clips out? and replace the formerly inserted Multicam Timeline Parts with that mov Files.

This is something you can not find in the Manual so I definately need help from an experienced user. Anyone out there to help me with a brilliant workflow?? ;-)

Hey,

Sorry, I happened to usually pop up when a multicam topic is triggered, but I admit I never reconform multicam projects (as I make them in the format to be delivered in the end)...

Now, if you select a clip in the open multicam TL and go the "reconform with the selected clip" way, isn't it ok ?
