USB Audio-interface

PostSun Jul 01, 2018 10:29 pm

I can't get a sound recorded to a new track (with the correct patch-settings). After I armed the track, and pressed the overal record-button there is a "red"waveform-block written on the track but without any signal. When I stop the recording this block holds the red color. When I try to click on it (to see the clip details) the whole block disappears. The format of the USB-B stream is 48.000Khz -24bits
I use a Allen&Heath QU-16 audio-device: the Midi protocol (Mackie) for the motorized faders works pefect!

I tried to use the same audio-device setup in conjunction with Apple's Garageband: this works fine. When I select the QU-16 as input-device, Garageband showed up a short message "core audio initialize". I don't see such a message in DaVinci Resolve. What's going wrong?
