Maintaining Audio Pitch Quality

PostMon Jul 02, 2018 7:58 am

I am trying to achieve the same quality of stretching audio and maintaining pitch as you get with Audition.

I found this on the BM site about Fairlight and cannot seem to find anything on it.
In addition, clip time warping lets you stretch or compress audio without shifting pitch.

Obviously I can adjust time of a clip in EDIT and maintain pitch but the quality is not good enough for what I need, this is similar to when I work in Premiere. To achieve great results with maintaining pitch I use audition.
Hoping I can achieve the same with Resolve Fairlight as we are moving from Adobe to BM.
Cheers

I’m new to the these suite of packages.

Fallback suggestion :

+) Used edit tab RETIME to select new clip Duration
+) Used PITCH effect in Fairlight to adjust in Semitones or (% knob to the right of it).
