tracking circle

PostTue Jul 03, 2018 5:34 pm

Hi,
I try to use fusion in resolve 15 to have a circle tracking an object in a video.
I previously find the way to do it but I lost my files and doesn't find it again.
I think I used polyline stroke with the traker but no way to make it working.
any idea?
Thanks

Hi - not sure I understand you correctly; are you saying you made it work, but only with text (presumably text+ node) following your object? And, instead of the text, you want to have a circle? If so, just replace your text node with a background node + ellipse mask? (and if you want it to be just a circle outline, untick "solid" in the mask and ensure your border width is greater than zero)

1. Select the stroke
2. Right click the center and select "modify with tracker"
3. Click on the tool modifiers tab, select the tracker and drag-and-drop the source to be tracked onto the empty text field
4. Track away

Thanks Okke, it works!

Igor, I didn't find the "modify with tracker" but as Okke's method works, it's ok for me.
Thanks a lot
