I have had consistent crashes while trying to export a timeline, using the File | Export AAF, XML ... and choosing FCPXML 1.5 (or other versions).
In addition, Resolve has crashed many times during export operations when I was using an eGPU attached to my iMac Pro. And when it didn't crash, I had problematic exports where various parts would be corrupted in the export, sometimes black frames, sometimes jittering frames (one forward, one back), sometimes pixelation. Removing the eGPU solve some of the problems, but I was still often getting black frames in unpredictable parts of my exported video. I finally got a clean export by shutting down all other applications and removing the eGPU.
Crash Logs attached.
