Ubuntu 18.04 small fonts in UI

PostTue Jul 10, 2018 10:13 am

Dear All,

I'm a newbie here and in the process of upgrading from Kdenlive to create videos to illustrate the work that we do at our animal shelter in the Philippines. I started editing only about a year ago to improve on footage from my DJI Phantom 3 and Mavic Pro camera drones and so far I really love it! That's why I aim to learn much more by using DR.

I'm using DR on a Dell XPS15 with 32Gb RAM, an i7-8850 and a 4K screen through the NVIDIA GeForce 1050Ti running Ubuntu 18.04. This OS provides a "zooming" facility to which all software that I've got running (like LibreOffice) responds as expected, i.e. "zoomed in". However, DR seems to bypass this somehow and the UI always displays the same (very small on a 4K) font.

From what I read, some older versions apparently had a method for changing the UI font (size), but is that possible for DR 15b6?

Thanks for your help and happy editing!

Michel.
