Use Display GPU for Compute

PostTue Jul 10, 2018 3:12 pm

What does this option actually do? If I have two GUI monitors hooked up to a GTX 1080 ti, will enabling this option allow me to use the GPU on the card, at the same time with the GUI monitors attached?

On the Studio version and on a system with at least two GPU cards, this option allows the GPU dedicated to GUI (= the one hooked up to a monitor) to also compute when needed ; only the GPU which is not hooked up does computing tasks otherwise...
