I'm color grading raw videos in Resolve and uploading them to YouTube. The saturation and colors seem higher in YouTube, as well in QuickTime. Very different from what I see in Resolve. I know it won't look identical on every monitor or video player but I'm trying to get it close.
I found a hacky solution for this. I created a LUT to match the colors that YouTube is rendering and I'm using it in Resolve to try and correct it. Before rendering the video, I remove the LUT and upload to YouTube.
Is there a better way to do this?
