Video freezes while Playback and doesn't render fully

Hello everyone,

so I have a problem with DaVinci Resolve Beta 15 (15.0.0B.057). I got a project to colorgrade from a friend and she kinda messed up. The Footage was shot with 59,94 fps (5D MK3 was set on NTSC not PAL) and she made a Premiere Pro project in which she made a sequence with 25 fps. I am telling you this because it might helps. So I exported the project via XML and imported it in DaVinci. The timeline is set to 25fps and also the playback frame rate.

Heres is the problem: Some clips just freeze while playback in the editing window and also in the color window. I tried to render these clips and DaVinci renders these to the point where they freeze but not beyond this. Some clips play to a random point, some don't play at all (just the first frame... thats it). I tried to change the clip attitudes but when I do so, the clip is suddenly shown as offline. I also checked every clip that has a problem in premiere and there are no effects on them. There is no real pattern to this problem.

What could this problem might be?

Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium SP1
AMD-A8-6600K 4x3,9
16 BG Ram
GTX 960 OC

It’s likely you have h.264 clips which are not ideal to directly change the frame rate on, and W7 which is not supported with v14 let alone v15.

Can you update the OS and try the clips then and if that’s still not successful use optimized media to make pro res or dnxhd clips.
