I noticed that not all of my clips for a specific term, which I placed in the metadata description field, were coming up when I searched. Upon further investigation I found that resolves media pool search seems to ignore anything in the description or comments field after a new line (and only if there it text preceding the new line)
I make a new line often to keep things organized for example breaking apart two small phrases so its visually easier to break everything down at a glance. Its really helpful, but unfortunately this bug means that a bunch of my metadata isn't searchable, which was the main point.
Is this just a bug that I'm going to have to work around until its fixed or is there something I can do?
Its a pretty simple test if anyone wants to try it on their system. Just have some media imported, put a phrase like "this is a test" in the description field of clip metadata. Then search for "test", it will come up no problem. Then with that search still in, put a new line before "test" in the description metadata. For me, now the clip disappears from the results.
