When dragging a clip on the timeline, its great to be able to turn snapping on or off as needed while a clip is being dragged. However, when snapping is off, and a clip is dragged from the source viewer to the timeline, hitting "N" will not toggle the snapping back on. I have to drop the clip somewhere else on the timeline, turn snapping on, and then pick up the clip and drag it to the desired location, knowing that (with snapping now on) I can place it exactly where it needs to be).
So fixing Resolve so snapping can be enabled/disabled when dragging a clip from the source monitor would be tremendously helpful!
Thanks guys!
Update: I tried the reverse, to see if snapping was on if I could disable when dragging a clip from the source viewer, and I can. So, while I had the clip still, I tried turning snapping off/on a bunch of times and noticed that it doesnt always respond when the key is hit. I may need to hit the N key 5 or 7 times before snapping is toggled off/on. So maybe this is more of an issue with the N key not always responding. I've had this issue with two different keyboards so I dont think its my keyboard.
