beta 8 disaster on the unspeakable OS

PostWed Aug 08, 2018 4:34 pm

I know w7 is not supported but for those who are living on the edge, beta 8 crashes everything, frequently and consistently, while all other betas were a joy to use (except fusion integration) on my underspec'd that never crashes (w7 amd FX 8320, 750ti, 24Gb ram, 850 evo ssd) machine.

Rolled back to beta7 and all is fine.

Will update soon.

Out of curiosity :
If you know that W7 is not supported: why tried with Davinci Resolve? :?

It worked without any major problem since v10 :) I can stay on 14, no problem, it is great.
It is not practical to update windows with this hardware and the other software I am using. Matter of cost basically. I find with older hardware w7 is more convenient. I am in Greece and hardware prices in euro, are pretty steep.

if the OS isn't supported it means they will do nothing to make sure Resolve works on it, so you're only wasting your time reporting problems.
