Scene cut Detector not working Resolve 15

PostMon Aug 13, 2018 10:21 pm

Hey,

I read the forum with the same topic, but a solution to my problem never came up. My file was imported with quicktime from Premiere Pro 8.0. When I click workspace, the scene cut detector is grey (not selectable). When I right click on the imported clip in the media pool the scene cut detector button is not even an option to choose from..please help!

First, remove the clip from the media pool, then select it in media storage, right click, select scene cut detector

Open the media tab. Media Storage, if it's closed, can be opened by clicking the button on the top left. This is your built-in file browser, essentially.

This is explained further in page 286 of the manual.

The manual only goes to page 282, I have the beta version, not the studio version if it makes a difference? But it seems like super basic. There isn't a media tab and it isn't an option on the button on the top left.. I feel pretty dumb tbh though..
