Copy/Paste Audio Channel assignments between clips.

PostThu Aug 23, 2018 9:32 pm

I have many clips that were record as 5 channel multi-channel files from production. They are intended to be 5 mono tracks but Resolve is recognizing them as a 5.1 track by default which isn't what I want.

Is there a way to set up one of these clips the way it is supposed to be, and then copy/paste this channel assignment to all of the other clips that need it?

As far as I can figure out currently, I'm having to go clip by clip and fix them manually each one, which I'm hoping isn't the only solution because there are tons of them.

You wanna hit that manual.... Select all relevant clips in media pool, right click one of them, select clip attributes, audio tab, configure tracks as needed.
