cannot launch

Hi, there
Just downloaded Resolve 15, and launched. It crashed whenever I tried to import media. I tried playing with the settings, at first following advice on forums and then pretty much at random, and at some point selected OpenGL. Whenever I launch I now get the message "DaVinci Resolve could not find any OpenGL capable GPUs. Would you like to review and update your DaVinci Resolve Hardware Configuration?" I expected punching OK to allow me to change the GPU setting back, but instead I just see the following message: "DaVinci Resolve is unable to run as the application was not able to initialize the discrete GPU." I seem to be in an interminable loop. I tried reinstalling, but it has not helped. Any idea what I can do? Is there a configuration file somewhere I can edit?

In case anyone else is having the same issue, it turned out my monitor was plugged into my motherboard instead of the GPU. I plugged it into the right HDMI port, and all is now working fine.
