Shared Database = Shared Gallery stills location

PostThu Aug 30, 2018 5:25 pm

Hi there, what is the right way? Cannot find in manual for shared database setup or collaboration uses. Should the Media Storage Location (Gallery Stills Location) located on a shared volume too? Goal is to change workstation within one project. So the gallery stills should be also on a central storage volume, right?

The strategy we use is simple:
In the San there is a project folder with all your data for the project
Within that, there is a folder called resolve
Upon creating the resolve project, in the settings, we point to that folder for still and cache as first thing.
From there on, if you van open the project in another machine, you will have the current path for gallery and cache.
