Paste in Resolve

How come when I paste or click on the insert between button, sometimes, but not always, the clip will past or get inserted at the complete beginning of the edit instead of where my timeline slider is located?

Its its pasting at the beginning of the timeline its likely because you have an in point selected.
The track selector rules also apply.

Select Alt (option) x to clear the I/O and try pasting again.

My first project completely edited in Resolve instead of FCPX. So far I love it! Just need to learn these little things.
