Resolve.exe Not Working

PostSat Sep 01, 2018 3:12 pm

Downloaded, then Installed (twice) and attempted to use (multiple times) Resolve earlier today.

On each attempt starting from both On-Screen Logos & Resolve.exe in Directory got a message something like:

"Procedure entry Point Delete Critical Section could not be located in the Dynamic link library api-ms-win-core-synch-|1-2-0.dll"

I left installation to resolves' own devices, or so I thought.

Is there something I haven't done or is there no hope.

Hoping for help and thanking in anticipation of success

Apologies if already posted but first attempt at around 1.45 pm BSummertime

warmest regards

Yes

It was not at all clear at point of download that Resolve 15 was designed for Windows 10. Over that now and hoping to make progress with Resolve 11.3.1 which runs in Win 7 Pro 64 bit.

So, takolenko, let us wish each other hearty encouragement with Resolve 11.3.1 as we move into the stratosphere of video editing

fingers crossed and in it together

So, does 11.3.1 work with windows 8? Or do i need a different version? Also, where do I find other version besides the 15.1.?

There's hope because what you want to do is possible. But there's no answer for why this occurs on some Win 7 systems and not others.
