Inensity Pro 4K not working with Win 7 Pro 64bit

PostThu Sep 06, 2018 9:02 am

Hello,

I´m new here. Working mainly with Resolve and Fusion Studio using an Intensity Pro 4K card for I/O.

That worked fine so far with Win 7 64bit Home Edition. But yesterday I switched to Win 7 Pro 64bit, in order to have 32 GB RAM. Well, I didn´t knew that Home Edition is restricted to 16GB, so for a while the other 16GB where unemployed in my system :-)

Ok, my problem is that the Intensity doesn´t work with Win 7 Pro Version. Blackmagic Desktop Video says "No Desktop Video Device Detected". Actually Windows recognizes the card but the drivers are not installed. I tried different versions of Desktop Video, but no one works.

If I switch back to the old Windows Installation with Home Edition, whitch is still on the same computer on another partition, the card works properly with Resolve and Fusion. So what to do?

Thanks!

Davinci Resolve does not support Windows 7 anymore - the best thing is to use Windows 10! In terms of :

Desktop Video doesn't recognize Intensity Pro 4K
