New Resolve user here, happily migrated so far.
I see that in Fairlight there's supposed to be sample-level editing functionality. As far as I know, all the user has to do is zoom the timeline in Fairlight as far in as possible to see the individual samples and edit them.
When I zoom in past a certain magnification, the audio waveform disappears completely.
System specs:
Davinci Resolve v. 15.0.1.003
OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
System Type x64-based PC
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Eight-Core Processor, 3000 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)
Display NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Audio Windows default "High definition audio device"
Memory (RAM) 16.0 GB
I'm not experiencing any other issues so far in the program, is there a specific setting or button to enable waveform sample viewing?
EDIT: The audio clip giving me issue is sampled at 96000Hz PCM 2 ch stereo. A seperate 44100 MP3 seems to be functioning normally with sample level editing. Is this a down-sample issue with Resolve?
