full monitor video viewer

PostThu Sep 06, 2018 9:23 pm

I will be purchasing davinci studio and want to see full video on my second monitor. My monitors are 4k. Monitor one is for the nle i have it configured as 1920-1080 and monitor 2 at 3860 x 2160.

What does BM have that will do the job. I have a dell inspiron, 8 core ryzen 1800x, rx 580, 16 gb ram.

Thank you

You will need one of BMD's DeckLink cards. The cheapest one you can get that has 4K output is the Mini Monitor 4K. That is the one I have and it works well. There are more advanced models of course.
System specs:
Resolve Studio version: 16.1.0.055
Fusion Studio version: 9.0.2
OS: CentOS 7
CPU: Intel i7-4790k 4GHz Quad-Core
RAM: 32GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 1080 Ti 11GB

And monitor (display) should have an HDMI input. Any HDMI->DVI cables does not work.

update: some HDMI->DVI cables may work.
