Fusion - Multiple Versions of Clips

PostMon Sep 10, 2018 11:55 am

Hello,

I use Fusion to add words onscreen during interviews and there are usually five different languages to create. Previously, when using Fusion 9 and Resolve 14, I'd just right-click and 'create new version' for each language.

I can't find that option in v15. The manual says it can be done (on page 656, see pic) but I don't get the Fusion context-menu option when I right-click the Fusion clip in the Media Pool.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

Hello!

Have you tried to right click on the clip (on bottom), fusion tab, then "Create New Composition"?

Aha. That works, thank you.

Do you know if there's a way to choose the composition from the Edit timeline rather than the Fusion tab? I can't find one.

I wonder if this is the 'official' way to do it now and it's just that the manual is out of date.
