Canon xf-avc and Video Off Line question

Hello New to the forum, and DaVanci Resolve 15 - I've seen some discussion on this but did not have time to search in depth this morning -

I really like what DR 15 has to offer - I've only got the free version now but it will not import the clips from my Canon XC-10 (HD 60fps) - Is this only because it is the free version (v15.0.1.003)? I'd be willing to buy the software but if it is not compatible with my clips there is no reason to do that.

Without your system specs, OS, GPU, etc, we would be guessing.

The computer was just built last week - I have EDIUS 9 Editing software - trial version running now and it imports and is stable - .
