Hi there, I'm a new user and have just installed Davinci 15. When I run the Davinci icon I get the above message. Does the programme automatically install a database ? -OR- Do I need to install one ? Thank you in advance.

You are not launching Resolve.

You are launching the Resolve Project Server (the one with the black icon). Don't launch that.

Launch Resolve (the colorful icon).

Thank you Dwaine. Did so and launched the coloured icon and I've received the opening welcome to Davinci Resolve 15 screen.
