15.01.003 hangs

many many many hangs today, usualy when doing nothing more than playing the timeline

think i counted fourteen hangs between two machines in three hours, and yea client was in the room for all of it <sigh>

sent error logs when prompted, only one time did it just go *poof*, so no "send us the log & tell us what you were doing" request on that one, every other time it stopped responding / open up the "send us the log" window and killed Resolve

moved the project to another machine, and it was even worse, at times hanging within seconds of opening up, moved the project back to the orignal machine as at least it recovered from a crash faster... more cores = faster re-start of the software

i exported an XML, made a new project, indexed the media again,and then colortraced, so far tonight it seems to be a functional project again

i have several other shows on the two machines, no other show has any issues remotely like this one has.. thankfully

the show it's self is a DCi2kfull timeline, Sony MXF media, 4kDCi raster, 60 min broadcast project, i will be exporting a roundtrip @ cam orig for the client to do the finishing

all the other projects i have underway are trouble free,

i'm not seeing a common thread to these hangs, glad to see this particular episode of this particular show in my taillights

next two episodes show up on Friday, i'll change everything i can think of, includeing default node tree (it has third party OFX in it) and production is tradeing the copies of the media i have with the backup copies
