Hi,
I’ve been asked to output a DCP with 7.1 audio. I’ve received eight audio tracks : L, R, C, LFE, Lsr, Rsr, Lss, Rss.
I have found how to group them in Fairlight but I didn’t find what is the right order.
I also ran a export test (through EasyDCP plugin, Resolve 15.0.1) and I have seen the resulting DCP has 8 channels. But searching over the web I found there are mainly two 7.1 DCP standard (7.1 SDDS and 7.1 DS) which look to have respectively 10 and 12 channels. I have confirm these by using EasyDCP Creator demo which ask for 10 channels for SDDS and for 12 for DS.
Does it means Resolve do not output standard 7.1 DCP ? Or how could we handle this ? If yes, what is the right channels order ?
FYI, as a workaround, I have used DCP-O-Matic for this job.
Thanks for your help.
