Position of subtitle while making srt file

hi,my name is mannu wanted to know about the position of subtitle. when i put subtitle on top with the help of y in preview its showing on top but when i am exporting srt file its not exporting what is the problem need help...

It's still buggy in my experience.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

SRT files don’t contain position data, that has to be applied by the editor

Hmm, aren't we the editors? There should be at least some degree of WYSIWYG.
If we can't set the position, show it in the position it will have when screening the result, otherwise it's unusable.

Uli, I think Tom's right, even if it looks weird. Position is managed elsewhere for SRTs...

Yes : Position is a track Style. (or create a new subtitle track..with a new track style)
