Selection threshold versus Reposition Threshold

PostMon Sep 17, 2018 9:35 pm

Just wanted to mention so that hopefully something can be tweaked here--

I'm finding that usually about 50% of the time when I'm trying to opt+select a clip, say to select just the video portion of a linked clip, my selection will actually nudge the video out of sync. I'm definitely not doing any sloppy mouse work and selecting while I'm moving left or right or anything like that.

But it's a common enough problem that about half of the time when I make an opt+select style selection on the clip I'm already preparing to do an Undo to fix the clip sync being broken.

I think there is something in the thresholding of the selection that can be tweaked so I can more confidently make selection without the clip moving when I'm not intending for it to.

Yes, I can verify this happens sometimes.
