Windows Media Player colour problem

PostTue Sep 18, 2018 9:53 pm

I find a file with the usual .mp4 settings when rendering to work fine for the 'Film & TV' default player, but when I use Windows Media Player to play the same file the colours are messed up and orangey. Anyone know why / how I can fix this?

QuickTime and WMP are probably the two worst media players out there. Just...don't ever use 'em.

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Thanks for the tip about POT Player. Much better especially as the output brightness, contrast etc can be adjusted.
