According to Fraunhofer site , the EASYDCP resolve plugin is fully functional in Resolve 15 free and studio, with the following limitation:
Visible watermark in each frame of the DCP
Issued KDMs have a maximum validity time of 2 days
Playback-quality will be drastically reduced after 15s. Playback of sound will stop after 15s
In order to generate KDMs the encrypted DCP with watermark should be visible in the media tab, but neither Encrypted DCPs created by Resolve itself using EasyDCP option in the delivery tab nor external made DCP which have a KDM issued for the demo certificate exported by resolve 15 easydco menu can be decrypted and played back with the noted audio limitation.
Unencryted DCP play fine both in the timeline and preview.
It looks like Decryption has been disabled in the unlicensed version of the easyDCP plugin.
I have tried on 2 clean installation of resolve 15.1 free. Has anyone experienced the same issue?
