can fusion compositions be 'linked' to the project bins?

PostFri Sep 21, 2018 9:58 am

so i have a project from which i already know it should be rendered out in like 5 different resolutions, for social media purposes.

I got a timeline set up with on videolayer1 some camera footage, and from v2 to v10 some fusion compositions stacked on top of eachother, slightly overlapping. (they are titles)

at first, i created the fusion composition from scratch (in the bins, rightclick -> create fusion composition) and after that i added them on the timeline. i noticed that when i edited them later, they did not update in the bin, they were still just the first version i created. so its not really referencing to the original composition. (which can be exactly what you want)

so now when i duplicate the timeline 5 times, to fit everything for every different resolution, and i want to edit 1 title, it will not update in the other timelines.

is there a way to set it up so that it will?

also, i've got this going on:

basically, when the composition is rendered in the timeline, it shows weird glitches, in this case flickering frames.

i've got 32 gb of ram, it shows 28% of it used. guess that should not be the issue in this case?
