Removing camera panning in Resolve

PostMon Oct 01, 2018 2:32 pm

Is there a way to track away a camera panning in Resolve? I have a shot that has a quick pan in it but the director wants it removed if possible.

You can use the stabilizer to lock the camera position, but you will lose a ton of resolution doing this in a pan.

When panning, you have parallax and the main subject angle of view change. I don't think it can be corrected in post at all.
