DCP export using Kakadu has never worked for me and at least a few others on this forum from the beginning betas.
The picture is fine, there is an issue with the audio stuttering and breaking up on playback in a theater. It plays back fine from within resolve, just not on the dolby DCP system. I have encoded using both the PC and Mac versions of Resolve Studio on different machines. 23.98, 24 true, and 25 framerates all have this issue (haven't tested others). Tried Stereo, 5.1, LRC output for audio. All no joy. All the above assets do encode properly and work using dcp-omatic.
Has anyone successfully exported using Kakadu (not easyDCP), and had it play back properly in the theater? If so can you share your settings?
