compound clip audio track disappears+no decompose in menu

PostWed Oct 03, 2018 9:30 am

Hello,
I am using DVR 15 public beta (on mac), I am having a problem with a compound clip. First the compound clip; although it has the compound icon in the right corner, there is no option to decompose in place in the menu (right clic). It seems like a regular menu (not compound)
Second, when I am using footage of the compound clip in the principal timeline, the audio track disappears, but when I choose"open in time line"in the original compound clip via the menu the audio tracks are there.
This problem did not appear at first, but did after I tried to remove audio from the footage I was trying to insert in the principal timeline. So the clip has sound in compound clip timeline, but looses it in the principal timeline.
How can I access "decompose in place"+ how can I restore the audio track in the principal timeline?
Thanks

In fact it is worse then I thought: all the audio tracks have disappear, when I try to bring the clips in the timeline. All the clips compound or not in my project are with no soundtrack in the timeline.(The sound is there in the media pool clips)
In the timeline the beginnig of the edit I did before the bug has audio tracks and seems ok.

This functionality is working with version 15.1.1 (005).
Consider updating to the latest version.

The "Decompose in Place" option is available under the Clip menu, as well as within the Compound Clip's contextual menu.

Be sure that the selected Clip includes the Compound Clip designation.
