Hello,
I first want to say thank you for allowing new editors to utilize such an amazing piece of software for free. It truly is incredible and I have begun to learn how to edit video using your software.
I recently updated my windows 7 machine to run windows 10 so that I could utilize Resolve 15 to it's fullest extent. Unfortunately the program now is basically unusable because it crashes whenever I try to do any editing color correcting pretty much anything.
I ran all of the 14 series of resolve on my computer with no problems and Davinci Resolve 14.3 also ran perfectly on my computer with Windows 7 Professional but could not render 2160p. So I decided to upgrade my machine to Windows 10 Pro.
My machine stats are as follows
Windows 10 pro (64bit)
Dell optiplex 9020
Intel core i7-4770 3.4 GHz
32 Gigs of ram
1TB Samsung Evo SSD
4TB External drive
AMD Radeon HD 8570 Gpu ( I know not a great card but like I said 14.3 ran perfect on my machine until I upgraded to Windows 10).
I have tried installing every version of Resolve 14 on my machine and every one of them crash at some stage or another during use. I have uninstalled and reinstalled each version of 15 as well with the same result. I have used the control comma and changed my GPU settings to openCl that seemed to allow the program to stay open a little bit longer until I tried to actually trim a clip or color grade something. The program is basically unusable on my computer right now.
