Crash on startup: "Looking for control surface"

PostSat Oct 13, 2018 12:44 pm

(I'm pretty new to Davinci, so please be patient)

So the first time I was using Resolve, I installed it on my Surface Book. I was aware of the fact that it will be a pain to use it, as I only have the I5 Model without external GPU.

So I wanted to install Resolve on my other PC as it has much better specs:

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU: AMD FX-8350
RAM: 20,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 1333Mhz
Graphics: 4096MB ATI AMD Radeon R9 200 Series (Sapphire/PCPartner)
Storage: 223GB SanDisk SDSSDHII240G SCSI Disk Device

But Resolve stops on startup at "Looking for control surface".
I tried everything what came to my mind (de/reinstalling graphics/audio drivers & disabling firewall) except reinstalling Windows.
(I added the crash-log.)

Has somebody an Idea what to do (else)?
