K5000 with Resolve 8?

Hey everybody!

Will the new K5000 graphic card work with Resolve 8 or do i have to buy version 9?

Hi Robin,

If you have a Mac OS and GPU driver that supports the K5000 (I assume this requires Mountain Lion) it should work with Resolve V8 or V9. However, if you have Resolve V8, you do not need to buy V9. V9 is a free upgrade for all existing Resolve owners. And of course, there is a free Resolve Lite version of V9. If you have a Resolve USB license dongle, you just need to download and install V9 from the Support area of the web site.
