The Microsoft thing fixes these types of issues the majority of the time.
Do you have this folder on your system:
C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve
If so, delete the DaVinci Resolve folder.
Then open regedit and in the Registry Editor app, go to this location:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve
You'll see a Version item. Double click it. That will open an Edit String window, and in the Value data area, I assume you'll see 17.0.00010
Delete that number, so the Value item area is empty. Then click OK. Then exit the Registry Editor.
Now run the installer.
Or better yet. Install the new 17.0 beta 4 version. That should install over the existing version without doing any of the above.
