Hi,
I am new to DaVinci Resolve and this forum.
I created a Project within DaVinci which I've devoted considerable time and effort and am very happy with the result as is.
But I now have a problem b/c my Project is using video clips from diverse areas on my system. I probably should have thought about this before beginning the Project but being new to the platform I didn't think about the consequences of that until now.
So what I'd like to do is to move all of the video clips referenced in the timeline to a single location but I believe doing that would break my Project b/c it would be referencing clips that have been moved.
To add to the frustration, I added the clips under their default naming off my iPad. (IMG_XXXX.MOV). So there's no real unique way of identifying the clips except by trying to locate the sequenced number.
Is there an easy way to relocate my clips without breaking the references? Or are the clips on the timeline actually copies of the referenced media that's stored in the apps database and so I shouldn't be concerned?
