Generate Proxy Media crashes Resolve if fed an HEIC image

Dragged a media folder from an iPhone import that contained both MOVs and HEIC stills.
Selected all clips and chose Create Proxy Media.
As soon as it hit an HEIC still Resolve crashed. This is easily reproducible.
Director, Editor, Problem Solver. Been cutting indie features for 24 years. FCP editor from version 2 to 7.
