Resolve 17.1 Beta

PostWed Mar 03, 2021 4:34 pm

Hello,

The new release notes indicate

H.265 10-bit 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 formats on supported Intel platforms.

Which Intel platforms specifically? Does anybody know?
Thanks,
-Asaf

It depends on the format and Intel's support, but off the top of my head, new Intel platforms - Ice Lake and above - should support the main formats.

As with other hardware accelerated encoding and decoding, you will need the Studio version of Resolve.
