view timecode in source window?

PostSat Mar 06, 2021 1:05 am

i seem to have lost the ability to view source timecode overlay in the source window? (i'm working on the edit page)

i've turned on data burn in (in workspace), and it's fine, showing me anything i want in the recorder window, but i can't bring it up in the source viewer when viewing clips.

have i, in yet another senior moment, done something amiss?

Leslie, I can't remember if and when the overlay worked in the source viewer. There's no option for it in the 3 dots menu. I can't find any option to enable it.
If you just need timecode there is the resizable timecode window in the Workspace dropdown.

hi charles,

i think you might well be right - i've just gone back to an old project where i remembered using it only to find i was working from a burnt in tc file - which i swapped out for rendering.

this age thing is getting worse ;-)

and your suggestion will help no end with my failing eyesight.

stay well
