I just upgraded Studio 17 to Beta 10 (the latest) and suddenly started getting an odd occurrence when I open up an old project (just a few days old but prior to the 9 to 10 upgrade).
When I click the paint node in the environment below (you have to scroll down to see it) the Inspector showed almost no controls open. So, I dragged over the paint area and got these green traces (which appear to be my brush strokes).

The good news is that all the controls then (responsive to me dragging over the area I'd painted earlier) suddenly became available in the inspector again (and I can work).
The bad news is that those green traces are in the way and I need to make them invisible or go away (I can drag them out of the way but am afraid I'm messing something up when I do).
1. How do I turn off those green Brush strokes (if that's what they are; if they're not, what are they?) and
2. Why, when I first clicked on the paint node (shown above) using the new beta 10 were almost all of the Inspector/Controls missing?
I'm guessing the same "switch" is responsible for both (perhaps a "show/hide brush paths" or editing mode option?) but I need to find out.
Thanks!
