No audio

AVI files created on my camera, and Facebook MP4 files do not have sound when loaded to Resolve. These files will play normally on windows Movies & TV app, Movavi, and VLC. If I load the video to Movavi and save only the audio as a MP3, Resolve will play the audio, but that much work is defeats the purpose of using Resolve. Is there a fix for this?
