Problem with collaboration workflow

PostSun Mar 07, 2021 3:59 pm

Hi all,

Never posted on this forum before but read alot of helpful tips and information THANK YOU ALL FOR THAT!!

Now I got a problem that I cant solve or find a answer for.

I got a setup with two workstations (windows 10) and Davinci Resolve 17 licenses.

I got one server (windows 10) with free edition of Davinci Resolve 17 with the Resolve Project Server.

All computers got two network interfaces, one 1gb (192.168.1.--) and one 10gb (192.168.50.--).

The 1gb got internet connection and the 10gb is a private network with a switch.

In the Resolve Project Server a database is created, shared and a key is created.

The two workstations can connect to the collababoration project without problem, they see eachother.

THE PROBLEM: only one of the workstations got access to the media, the other sees the media but its all offline. When relinking the media the other workstations media goes offline.

If doing the same thing but relinking all the media on both workstations to the 1gb (192.168.1.--) network, all works as supposed.

Thanks for your help and time!
