How to turn off desk mike during editing

PostMon Mar 08, 2021 4:33 am

Since I have installed V17.10 I noticed that my desktop mike (part of my desktop video camera) is turning on when I open Resolve 17. How do I turn this off within the preferences?. The desktop video/mike has no on-off switch and usually only comes on when requested by a program (like Zoom or for video login). I have a pro mike for use in recording audio for Resolve. Thanks for any assistance.

Only thing I can think of is to unplug it.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

If you are on Windows, disable it in Device Manager while you use Resolve.
