Hi all,
I'm editing a show and the delivery specs are XDCam50, MXF, 59.94, 720p, stereo. Shouldn't be an issue - I have my Project and Timeline settings set to 720p, 59.94, but when i go to the Deliver page and set it to MXF OP1A, XDCAM MPEG2, 59.94, the issue is the Resolution field is set to 1920 x 1080 HD, and is greyed out so it's locked and I can't change it to 1280 x 720. What's strange is if I jump to another page and then back to the Deliver page, the resolution field is still greyed out but now shows 1280 x 720, but when I hit Render Now to go, it instantly changes to 1920 x 1080. Basically, it will only render out this codec/wrapper/fps at 1080. Any other wrappers/codecs don't do this (i.e. Quicktime ProRes, H.264, etc.) - the resolution field isn't greyed out and I can change it like normal to render out at 720p. Also, if I create a brand new project and set the Project and Timeline settings across the board to 720p 59.94, then before I even import any assets I go to the Deliver page and set it to MXF OP1A, XDCAM MPEG2, 59.94, the Resolution field is still/already greyed out/locked at 1920 x 1080 HD, so this feels like a possible glitch?
I have a lot of episodes to deliver, so it would be really great to avoid rendering out from another program or having to render at 1080 and then use another render to transcode from 1080 to 720. Any one have any ideas, fixes or encounter this before?
Thanks so much for your help!
