Selling DaVinci Resolve?

Hi I already own DaVinci Resolve Studio through my BMPCC 4K purchase last year.. now that I have the BMPCC 6k which come with another copy of resolve I don’t need I assume I can just sell this on eBay?

You can, but there are concerns.

That copy of Resolve is tied to your camera's serial number. The buyer won't be able to get support without that serial number.

And if you give that out, then the camera could end up registered to the buyer and you won't get support for the camera.

Did someone from BMD tell you this? It makes no sense. If the EULA allows you to resell the software, how can they not support both the camera and software when you do?

Hmm. I would have sworn I read from another employee that the license was tied to the camera's serial, in so far as BMD would not provide support without the camera's serial number.
