Davinci Resolve 17.1 wont open

Hi first time poster and user of Davinci Resolve. I recently downloaded Davinci Resolve 17.1 installed and it installs fine but it fails to launch.

When I try to launch it the launch screen appears for a few seconds and then closes. I have tried uninstalling and deleting program files etc and reinstalling and still the same thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

No luck yet and still waiting on a reply from support...

I still haven't been able to get it to work hopefully someone from support can help out soon. I have however decided to download Resolve 16.2.8 and installed that and it works. So I'm assuming 17.1 is still buggy?

Paul and Sewar, please post details of your system, especially the GPU and its driver version. These two items are often the cause of Resolve not opening.
